
Cal Pac Selects Players of the Week for Feb. 5
The following California Pacific Conference student-athletes have been recognized as the conference Players of the Week for their performances during the period of Jan. 29 – Feb. 4:
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
La Sierra guard Kaydn Mew led her squad to a pair of two-point victories last week, averaging 19 points, five rebounds, and handing out nine assists. In Thursday's 49-47 win over Simpson, the junior from Ventura, Calif., led the Golden Eagles with 14 points, and she followed that up with a game-high 24 points in Saturday's 73-71 win over UC Merced.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
UC Merced's Cameron Brown posted back-to-back 24-point efforts and averaged 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals in two road wins. Against Embry-Riddle, the sophomore from San Lorenzo, Calif., finished with 28 points, 24 in the second half, and added eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a 76-62 win; he essentially matched that same stat line in the Bobcats' 76-67 win at La Sierra.
