Men's Soccer Crown Could Be Decided Sunday
Cal Pac men's soccer could have a regular season champion Sunday night, but a lot of math is involved.
League-leader Stanton (5-1 Cal Pac, 15 points) can capture that trophy in their first NAIA season with a win over Pacific Union…but ONLY IF Westcliff (4-1-1, 13 points) loses or ties last-place Cal Maritime on Sunday.
The Elks and Warriors, both receiving votes in the NAIA national men's soccer poll, have clinched spots and are assured of the top seeds in the upcoming Cal Pac tournament on Nov. 9 & 11 in Santa Ana.
Pacific Union (6 points), Simpson (5 points) and Cal Maritime (3 points) are still in the hunt for the final two spots entering the last two games of the regular season.
