CAL PAC SOCCER SHOWDOWN!

The first full weekend of Cal Pac conference play kicks off, featuring a pair of rivalry matches and an inaugural league bout.

Stanton plays its first-ever Cal Pac match, and travels to face defending champ Westcliff in a men's/women's doubleheader. The Elks men are unbeaten so far this season (3-0-2) while the Warriors (3-3-1) appeared in the NAIA Top-25 this season and are 17-1-1 in conference action over the previous two seasons.

The Westcliff women (7-1-1) were unbeaten in league play last year as co-champions, and are climbing the "receiving votes" ladder of the NAIA poll. Stanton enters the match on a two-game winning streak, outscoring those two opponents 23-0.

Up North, Simpson and Cal Maritime face off in Vallejo. The Red Hawk women sit atop the league standings at 1-0 after a victory at Pacific Union to open their season.
