ERAU Offense Erupts in Sweep of LSU
Embry-Riddle obliterated the California Pacific Conference record book with an astounding power display against visiting La Sierra over four games last week. In 31 innings, the Eagles scored 83 runs while amassing 76 hits, including 27 doubles, five triples, and six home runs. In the final game of the series alone the Eagles pounded out 14 doubles. There were many outstanding individual efforts: Drew Barragan had 10 hits in 15 at bats, scoring seven runs, hitting seven doubles, a triple, and driving in 17 runs; Travis Strickler went 9-for-12, scored 15 times, drove in eight, and collected two doubles, two triples, and two home runs; Luke Jepsen went 11-for-21 with four doubles and 11 RBI; Miles Murphy was 7-for-13 with five runs, five RBI, two doubles, and a triple; and in three games, Blake Moore had 11 hits in 15 trips to the plate, scored eight times, drove in six, and had three doubles.
